A donation is not a feature unlock. It buys nothing you do not already have — it pays for hosting, sources, and the editorial work behind the entries.

FAQ

▸Is safety information always free?

Yes. Dosage, interactions, harm reduction guides, and emergency info are free and always will be — that is a founding rule, not a launch promotion. Nothing on this site has ever sat behind a payment, and the personal tools are free too.

▸Why a nonprofit?

Psychedex is a public health resource. Nonprofit structure means the mission comes first, donations become tax-deductible once 501(c)(3) status is granted, and there is no incentive to monetize user data.

▸What about my data in the app?

The Psychedex app is being rebuilt: it will need no account, and the app itself will send none of your record anywhere.

▸Is there a subscription?

No. There is nothing to subscribe to and nothing to cancel — supporting Psychedex is a donation. If a paid tier does arrive it will be for API access, and the encyclopedia and its safety data stay free. Your data stays yours either way.
