Unity, editor
Who edits Psychedex, what the editor approves, and how to report an error.
who edits psychedex
Psychedex is edited by Unity. For about five years Unity was the lead editor and content director of PsychonautWiki, approving all of the site’s content and writing dozens of its substance articles.
Unity has been active in harm reduction for over ten years and holds degrees in neuroscience and English.
what the editor approves
Substance records and practices go through editorial approval before publication. A page the editor has reviewed says so under its title, “Reviewed by Unity, editor”, with the date. A page without that line makes no review claim.
Effect and concept entries are drafted by AI from the research literature. They are marked on the page as AI-drafted until a sourced revision replaces them.
how entries are made
The methodology page sets out where the data comes from, how evidence is graded, and how an entry moves from draft to publication. The AI use policy covers what AI systems may do with the data.
corrections
Substance, effect and concept pages have a “Report an issue” link that files a report against that entry. You can also suggest a correction or write to contact@psychedex.org. Corrections that cite a source are prioritized.
An editor reviews each report. An approved fix publishes as a new version, and the previous version stays in the page’s history.
